Evolyn is positioning itself as a potential competitor to Eurostar following its announcement. And with good reason: the company is planning to offer low-cost tickets, i.e. much cheaper than those offered by Eurostar!

With the purchase of 12 cross-Channel trains (and the fleet could even be expanded to 16 trains in total), the company will link Paris to London from Gare du Nord to St Pancras International station, starting in 2025. But that's not all! Stops in the north of France could also be proposed (but nothing is certain, it is still under discussion).

Traffic jams under the Channel?

This announcement comes at the same time as Eurostar's announcement that it is suspending its London - Netherlands route due to renovation work at Amsterdam Centraal station.
